Business Development Director - Relocation Services - Remote

Job Description

Our client, a relocation services provider is looking to hire a Business Development Director - Relocation Services to be based remotely in the USA.
 
This position will suit an experienced Corporate Relocation professional with strong Sales and Business Development experience. 
 
The successful individual will be responsible for generating new business and selling relocation services across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and New England.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop business across the USA
  • Targeting transactional business from small to medium-sized clients to developing multi-million dollar contracts
  • Utilize the capabilities, resources and assistance of the staff and partners to provide solutions that secure and maintain new and existing business
  • Sell relocation services including; home sale/purchase, temporary housing, HHG moving services and destination services
  • Initiate, contact, manage and close sales leads
  • Proposal preparation, development and presentation
  • Attend industry conferences and events with the ability to develop leads
  • Quote pricing and provide technical responses
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years selling relocation services including; home sale/purchase, temporary housing, HHG moving services and destination services
  • Existing network of clients within target market
  • Excellent understanding of domestic and international relocation and HHG moving
  • Education level of Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Some domestic and international travel may be required.
