Financial Analyst
Job Description
Our London based client is looking for a Financial Analyst to join to their Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a well-known, international organisation.
As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with reporting across all avenues of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly reporting for the summary of profits and losses within the business, corporate marketing, travel and expenses, NetSuite YTD Pivot and more.
- Provide reports on quarterly figures within the sales department, provide summaries and travel expenses for all departments
- Provide reporting for breakeven analysis, presale P&L projection, post-sale Flash P&L
- Ensure performance monitoring and go through client accounting to assure precision
- To communicate with the client's accounting department to ensure accurate posting especially with global guarantees
- Invoice settling code should be guided by client accounting and accounts payable
- Collaborate with the PR department to ensure that the figures reported by the press are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide forecasting and statistics during financial meetings
- Assist with audit documents and corporate tax preparation
- Respond to ONS Surveys
- Produce cover for the rest of the finance team
- Perform all ad-hoc duties when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar accounting or finance role is required.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Essential knowledge of MS Excel, VLookup’s and pivot tables
- Foreign currency experience within a global company
- Familiar with all general ledger functions
- Experience with accounting packages including; Netsuite and Workday Adaptive Insights
- Work to strict deadlines and prioritise a large workload
- Excellent time management skills
