Operations Manager

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is working with one of the leading brands within the Removals industry in their search for a Removals Operations Manager.
 

The Removals Operations Manager will have a hands-on position, handling daily removal operations, workforce planning and management, maintaining client satisfaction, and ongoing proper maintenance of the portfolio of the company.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Based on the survey results, evaluate the requirements for each job and assign employees and vehicles as necessary.
  • Overseeing the removals diary's daily operations.
  • Keeping track of the crew's work, issues, and arrival timings.
  • Provide job costings to the move managers.
  • Make arrangements for the use of "third party" services during UK Removals operations.
  • Set up specific parking suspensions or exemptions.
  • Request comparison prices for services from UK Removals partners.
  • Plan for the assignment of outside labor if necessary.
  • Plan outgoing and incoming removal shipments from the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Removal Operations Manager would be beneficial.
  • Ideally the perfect candidate would hold a full forklift license,
  • Man-management abilities.
  • Well organised.
  • Excellent IT skills.
