Removals Move Manager

Job Description

One of London's leading Removals companies is looking for a full time Move Manager to join their busy removals department, based in North West London. 

Responsibilities:

  • To enter sea, courier, air, and road shipments to worldwide destinations
  • Entering client data into their management system
  • Electronically filing inventories/customs forms and checking scan quality
  • Assuring that clients have filled out the correct forms and followed the restrictions set by the relevant customs authority
  • Receiving payment for shipments
  • To keep storage files and receive payment
  • To keep track of all unshipped consignments and move them to storage as needed
  • Creating invoices for customers
  • Liaison with clients regarding invoice disputes and resolutions
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Calls from both external and internal customers are answered within 5 rings
  • Working with courier companies, destination shipping agents, and our warehouse and export teams to ensure that our customers' shipping processes run smoothly

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Superior organisational and time management capabilities
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Superb computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Adaptable to the variety of necessary duties
  • Presentable, trustworthy, and prompt
  • Experience with high volume Admin, Invoicing, or Accounting function would be advantageous
  • This vital department will provide the training and support necessary for success and growth
