Shipping Coordinator job in London

A market leader in food commodities is seeking an Shipping Coordinator to join their team in East London.

Responsibilities;

Monitoring shipments from point of loading to final delivery ensuring correct documentation is provided.
Assisting the shipping manager with full duties
Liaising and supporting clearance agents / freight forwarders
Handling import/export documentation including Bills of lading,
Coordinating import licences
Liaising with clearance agents and freight forwarders to ensure consignments move from port of arrival to the correct customer
Liaising with outside warehousing and Haulage contractors
Providing holiday cover when required
Preparing documents for export and cross trade shipments
Monitoring freight rates
