This individual will coordinate large scale logistical projects as well as developing key client accounts.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring that the customers’ requirements are met at all times.
- Increase repeat business and develop new key client accounts.
- Produce the documentation for all internal/outward shipments throughout the whole process.
- Comply with all company and logistical policies and procedures.
- Schedule all jobs in a timely manner, as well as the collection, packaging, and shipping processes
- Ensure that all accounts are up to date and scheduled to be as cost-effectively as possible without affecting customer satisfaction.
- Setting up customer accounts, issuing bills of lading, and producing invoices.
- Assisting with department calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Previous experience working within the art logistics industry.
- Develop and maintain client relationships within the art industry, including Galleries, Auction Houses and other organisations.
- Coordinate shipments cost efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve client concerns.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
- Microsoft Office and internal computer systems knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
