Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships across account portfolio with defence and aerospace clients
- Oversee shipments both import and export to ensure an excellent service is delivered in line with service agreement
- Onboarding new customers, ensuring a smooth implementation
- Work closely with external suppliers, building strong partner relationships
- Resolve any complaints or escalations from customers
- Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell additional services
- Negotiate contracts with customers
- Compile client reports and discuss internally, implementing improvements as required
- Conduct client reviews
- Lead a team of 2-3 individuals, ensuring they are trained and motivated
Requirements:
- Extensive Account Management and Operations experience in Freight Forwarding
- Currently or previously managed a portfolio of aerospace and defence clients
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build and manage strong relationships with clients
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
