This role will be office based in Woodbridge, Virginia.
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the Finance/Billing department as well as Human Resources.
- Supervising and directing a small team of staff.
- Establishing internal controls and regulations for budgeting and accounting transactions.
- Reconciling statements and managing chart of accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with accounts rules and coordinating with external auditors.
- Managing the month-end close process.
- Fulfilling other duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Expert knowledge of accounting and it’s processes.
- Experience as an Accounting Manager.
- Previous experience within the moving industry is advantageous.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Highly capable of teamwork.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of accounting software.
