Our client, an international logistics provider is looking to hire an experienced Air & Ocean Export Specialist to work remotely on the East Coast, USA.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and book air and ocean export freight on behalf of clients
• Monitor and track air and ocean export freight from booking through to delivery 
• Process shipping documentation including AES/EEI filing and Certificate of Origin 
• Request and negotiate rates with carriers to decide most appropriate routing with efficiency and cost in mind 
• Input required data into system 
• Create and issue invoices to clients

Main Requirements: 

• At least 2 years Air & Ocean Export experience is essential, US domestic experience a plus
• Ability to negotiate and agree air and ocean freight rates
• Knowledge of TSA regulations and Export Licenses essential
• Must be able to complete IMDG and IATA Dangerous Goods certifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including good Microsoft Excel skills
