An established blue-chip Contemporary Art Gallery in New York is looking for an experienced Sales Director to join the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing, nurturing and sustaining new and existing relationships with collectors and artists
- In charge of a busy sales pipeline, generating sales, forming sales plans when needed
- Grow the gallery client base and work towards an increase of sales
- Utilising a network of clients and contacts to promote exhibitions, events and sales
- Working well with the team to ensure excellent client service is provided at all times
Experience requirements:
- Previous experience within the sector in a similar position in a Gallery, preferably specialising in Contemporary Art
- Proven sales track record
- Passionate about Contemporary Art with in-depth market knowledge
- Strong network of clients in New York and across the USA
- Great communications skills and efficient approach to work
