Our client, a globally recognised art organisation are seeking to appoint a Shipping Coordinator based in London.

You will be responsible for the following duties:
- In charge of all import/export permits, arts council applications, and paperwork required for international transportation.
- Create shipment estimates for incoming and departed items.
- Plan and manage substantial combined shipments for both air and sea transfers.
- Arrange for local transportation, handling of artwork, packaging, and crating services.
- Organize air, ocean, and courier shipments.
- Carry out standard administrative procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for many internal sales divisions at once.
- Carry out any additional ad hoc tasks as directed by the shipping manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with the shipping of art or high-end pieces.
- Working knowledge of import and export documentation is advantageous.
- Previous experience working within the fine art industry is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Knowledge of customs documentation is preferred.
- Experience with Outlook and MS Office Suite.
