Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and, if necessary, preparing task assignment plans.
- Maintaining adequate labour levels while allocating personnel and resources to meet each business's work flow.
- Interpreting new moves, assigning responsibilities, establishing or modifying work processes to meet production deadlines are all examples of interpretation.
- All operational employees are under supervision.
- Enforcing corporate guidelines and safety standards.
- Hiring of drivers and porters.
- Completion of performance evaluations in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Aid in the driver certification process.
- Helping the operations manager oversee the training and safety initiatives at the branch.
- Solving difficulties at work, helping others, and conducting analysis.
- Ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
- DOT-compliant company rules are being reviewed and enforced.
- Inspection of warehouses to confirm compliance with federal regulations and industry norms.
Requirements:
- The ideal applicant must have prior managerial expertise in the moving or logistics industry.
- The capacity to deal with disruptions on a regular basis and adjust to variations in workload and work schedule.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
