Responsibilities;
- Responsible for identifying own new leads / opportunities and closing new business
- Developing relationships and fostering new business
- Networking at events with potential clients
- Cold calling
- Work alongside the vice president and customer service team
- Identify new target customers within defined parameters.
- Research all clients fully prior to visiting, to ensure credit limits are viable, and there is a realistic chance of success
- Communication with clients in order to qualify prospects and promote the Company
- Arrange visits and/or follow up
Skills Required;
- Experience working within the Freight Forwarding industry
- Strong sales and business development background
- Excellent customer service skills
