We are partnering with a successful provider of Moving and Storage services to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager (Moving) who will join their Spanish division on a hybrid working basis.
As the Business Development Manager (Moving), you will lead the growth of the business both within Spain and worldwide.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager (Moving):
- Propelling the expansion of the business, with a primary focus on Spain, expatriates and commercial contracts.
- Establishing a strong network of contacts within the Moving sector to grow the client base.
- Researching new opportunities within the Moving market.
- Working with the GM to lead business development projects, forecasting sales projections and income.
- Monitoring and reporting all business development ventures.
- Attracting new clients using negotiation and sales techniques, responding and following up with sales enquiries.
- Working with other departments within the business to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Attending Moving Industry events and conventions to develop positive relationships and stay informed on current market trends.
- Serving as an expert in the services and products offered by the business in order to maximise sales.
- Understanding the business’ position within the market and building an awareness of competitors.
- Visiting clients and keeping consistent lines of communication.
- Presenting client meetings and internal meetings.
Requirements of the Business Development Manager (Moving):
- Experience of Business Development within the Moving Industry.
- Willingness to develop knowledge, skills and sales techniques.
- Fantastic communication skills, able to persuade and negotiate.
