The successful applicant will assist in commercializing and monetizing the sales of our clients innovative technologies. You will drive sales revenue, profitability and market penetration.
Responsibilities;
- Identify and target end users of our clients technology, and drive the sale process all the way through to contract execution
- Determine the best technology to satisfy customers' demands by working with engineering disciplines
- Support the creation of expert written proposals while assuring their responsiveness, thoroughness, and consistency in form and design
- Create cost estimates for new proposals while maintaining and updating cost estimating databases
- Find opportunities to increase margins through sourcing and design adjustments
- Create pertinent marketing and sales collateral to help the product(s) succeed in the marketplace
- Assist in developing the market, and operational strategies
- Bachelors degree is required, preferably in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience, ideally in a Business Development, with direct customer sales experience
- Ability to identify, and capitalize opportunities and increase growth, and market penetration
- Hold strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve, and manage work load and priorities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to forge working relationships with clients
- Willingness to travel to support customers, and sales efforts
