We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's team and play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services. As a CT Technician, you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of computed tomography procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice, as ordered.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient condition and promptly report/respond to changes in status.
  • Equipment and Supplies: Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Imaging Procedures: Position patients and perform computed tomography imaging procedures.
  • Quality Analysis: Analyze imaging results and identify issues with image quality.
  • Issue Resolution: Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including patient repositioning and procedure repetition.
  • Results Reporting: Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.

  • Education: Graduate of a program in the discipline required.
  • Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Environment: Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire.
  • Licenses: New Mexico Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RRT) and ARRT certified/registered in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
