A large and highly reputable Moving Company is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to join their New York based team. 

The ideal candidate will have sales or business development experience within the Moving industry and will be passionate about closing sales and winning new clients.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Sales Manager:
  • Tracking trends within the Moving industry and planning sales strategy accordingly.
  • Focused business development on particular geographical areas within the state of New York.
  • Working closely with the Marketing department to develop the company’s approach.
  • Networking at industry events to promote the business and secure new leads/ clients.
  • Providing sales figures reports to management. 
  • Surveying and coordinating moving projects. 
  • Leading and inspiring a small team of Commercial Sales Consultants, working to develop their knowledge of the Moving industry.
  • Using all available resources to target key accounts, converting leads into sales at all opportunities.  

Experience Required:
  • Ideally at least three years of experience in moving industry sales or business development. 
  • IT proficient with knowledge of CRM software.
  • Strong ability to engage with people, using influence and negotiation skills.
  • Clear desire to succeed with ability to use own initiative.
  • Prepared to travel regularly to meet with clients.
