The successful candidate will be coordinating with the General Manager and ensure the day-to-day maintenance and any work requests for the facilities are completed to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept to a high standard
- Ability to respond quickly to any technical issues that need immediate attention
- Supervision of the access control systems such as security cameras
- Complete regular health and safety training/drills for all staff members
- Working alongside the General Manager to ensure that all facility equipment is maintained to the manufacturer standards
- Assess any maintenance that is required for the property such as relaying or repairing the floors
- Scheduling third parties to ensure they are following the terms of the service agreements
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment
- Ensure you are meeting all client and staff members requests in a timely manner
- Liaise with both internal staff and external vendors to confirm the completion of all work orders
- Obtain estimates and proposals from third parties
- Track and monitor all stock and materials that are needed
- Provide support for any facility requests for internal or external events on-site
- Organize and assist with facility inspections
- Accompany vendors and contractors working with the company facility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Work to a high standard within a team environment
- Flexibility when working as this may includes nights or weekends alongside being on call
- Be able to stand, kneel, bend, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
- Confidently be able to heavy lift goods of a variety of sizes
- Operate a forklift confidently
- Show knowledge when using warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies
- Certificates for fire watch, sprinkler standpipe and fire pump are preferred
- HVAC and/or Journeyman license and certification is preferred
- Hold a clean valid driver’s license or have reliable transportation
