Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Field Service team (Superintendent, Field- and Technical Service engineer, Technical and Admin Coordinator)
- Leading team culture and field activity (training, people development, process, quality, efficiency)
- Communicate with the superior or/and other departments (Ops Experts etc.)
- Manage and allocate resources effectively (optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness etc.)
- Collaborate not only within own department but also related departments
- Review and respond to field inquiries. Leading the review and consulting with superior or/and related department & customer.
- Establish the project plan and execute it by professionally assigning resources. (e.g. Job card, team works across the team)
- Lead collaboration activities with relevant departments to ensure seamless project execution and accurate technical shooting.
- Help and lead the field activities through cooperation with superior and related departments.
- Review the field feedback and coordinate it according to the work process or/and superior’s guidance.
- Provide accurate feedback(report) and support the decision-making process.
- Forster a positive team culture by encouraging collaboration and clear communication. Drive process development by identifying improvements and implementing best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support to keep sustainable resource pool.
- Understand the demands on the field resources and provide constructive processes & sustainable solutions.
- Allocate and lead field resources and manage the project timelines.
- Ensure technical compliance with company standards.
- Lead the technical issues under processes and collaborate with relevant departments to implement solutions.
Skills Required:
- Higher education degree (BsC Mech ,&/or Elect. Engineering) with sound experience as a Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer and knowledge of Marine 2 stroke engine including related equipment.
- Proven experience and ability in engine & machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Particularly with shipboard systems or marine 2-stroke engines are highly desirable.
- Proven experience and ability in technical leadership, team management, or project coordination. Demonstrating the ability to lead engineers and collaborate effectively with subcontractors.
