We are working with a prestigious international Moving Company to assist them in their search for a Fleet & Warehouse Assistant Manager based in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities of the Fleet & Warehouse Assistant Manager:
- Utilise warehouse computers to receive shipments.
- Obtain signed warehouse receipts from packers and enter information into our software package.
- Update clients regarding inventory using automation.
- Upload images of the manual loading of containers to the software.
- Record measurements, volumes and item amounts correctly.
- Make sure a warehouse release order or a pick-up/delivery order is created for all released cargo.
- Allocate items received to correct client record.
- Attend to clients speedily and efficiently when receiving their items in the warehouse.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements of the Fleet & Warehouse Assistant Manager:
- 3 years experience as a Fleet Controller.
- 5 years experience in the Warehouse Transportation sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated to continually develop and improve.
