We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented German Payroll Specialist to join our clients team on a temporary contract basis. 

The primary responsibility of this role is to support an ongoing audit, ensuring all payroll processes and records are compliant with German regulations.

This role required immediate start and will support a payroll audit project until 14/7/2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit: Manage the preparation and execution of required tasks for the payroll audit, ensuring all documentation and processes meet compliance standards.
  • Data Research: Conduct extensive data research to verify payroll information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Document Searches: Perform thorough searches and reviews of documents within various systems to support audit requirements.
  • System Familiarisation: Quickly familiarise yourself with our (not overly complex) payroll system operations to efficiently support the audit process.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in German: Must be fluent in both written and spoken German to effectively manage payroll processes and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of German Payroll Regulations: Strong understanding of German payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data and documentation.
  •  Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis of payroll data.
  • Quick Learner: Capable of quickly understanding and navigating payroll systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a payroll specialist role, particularly within the German market.
  •  Experience supporting audits or similar compliance processes.
