Responsibilities of the Global Moving Coordinator role:
- Fully coordinate and manage the international household goods moving process for corporate clients and their employees
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service at all times
- Manage the logistic and shipping process of household goods moves
- Ensure moves adhere to FIDI / FAIM standards
- Act as the subject matter expert on move management process and shipping service delivery
- Ensure moving services meet the set client policy
- Liaise with clients and assignees during their move to provide updates on shipping, relocation support and delivery
- Handle freight documentation for import and export of household goods
- Secure best pricing and rates for the move to ensure a profit and re-price corporate moves as required using systems and tools
- Track all relevant shipping, logistics and relocation documentation
- Liaise with shipping and freight forwarding companies as well as
- Ensure client invoicing
- Strong international household goods moving and move management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of shipping, logistics, relocation and freight forwarding processes
- Strong IT and MS Office experience using Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Motivated, positive and personable attitude
- Excellent ability to problem-solve
- Fluent English & French
