We are partnering with an industry leading multinational who is seeking a HR Projects Manager to join their expanding team based in Doha.
The main purpose of this position is to lead project deadlines, and approved budgets, plan, manage, and effectively carry out the organisations HR projects and change efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Act autonomously while following the Senior Manager PMO's instruction for consultation to identify methodical approaches to solving problems.
- This position is accountable for interacting with important internal and external stakeholders, leading HR projects in terms of evaluation, design, testing, and implementation into operations.
- In order to ensure that the HR division is prepared for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and beyond, you will be in charge of overseeing execution, monitoring progress, and risk management.
- A detailed project roadmap for HR project goals to ensure readiness for the FIFA World Cup 2022 would be built, recommended, and carried out.
- Co-create and carry out project plans focused on successful delivery of the approved plans across HR areas in alignment with all stakeholders and internal departments (e.g. IT, Finance, other Business Divisions etc.)
- Manage internal stakeholders and collaborations across HR and other departments (such as IT, Finance, Procurement, etc.) to guarantee cohesion, promptness, seamlessness, and effectiveness in the accomplishment of project objectives.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and produce reports for key stakeholders.
- Create business cases / spend justifications to justify and track investments in project delivery.
- Ensure project issues and risks are identified, quantified, and addressed.
- Utilizing knowledge from the past, proactively "predict" risk by creating plans and methods for its mitigation. Make that key stakeholders are properly informed of risks, assumptions, and constraints and that they are escalated as needed. Create, oversee, and control the foundation for HR project management (including policies, tools, processes, programmes and forums)
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in the HR field.
- A degree equivalent to a bachelor's.
- Experience managing projects for at least seven years and managing people for at least three years.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Clarizen).
- Working knowledge of senior stakeholders and large, diverse teams.
- The capacity to assign tasks, define goals, and coordinate workflow.
- Effective coaching and mentoring abilities. a capacity for developing the skills of subordinates.
