The Role
As a Moving & Relocation Services Consultant, you will oversee the door-to-door shipping and relocation services for corporate assignees. You will be expected to work closely with the company’s clients to proactively manage their relocations in an energetic environment. You will serve as a point of contact for both assignees and company clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing and serving as a point of contact for assignees during the relocation process for corporate accounts across a variety of services including the full coordination of destination services, household good shipments, and temporary accommodation.
- Ensuring a variety of services, such as expense & tenancy management, arrivals & departures, and home and school searching, are delivered to a high standard as and when required.
- Deliver training in language and culture and settling in services, in addition to any other services that clients may need.
- Carrying out and adhering to the company’s clearly established protocols to guarantee worldwide service consistency.
- Planning and overseeing the activities of third-party partners, including the booking, recording, and auditing of their services.
- Establishing relationships with assignees, co-workers, vendors, and clients through proactive communication.
- When relocating abroad, learning about, discussing, and verifying that the rules and regulations of customs are followed.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the policies, cultures, and service demands of the given clients.
- Providing our clients with high-quality data while updating our Ascent technology platform.
- Writing reports for both clients and co-workers.
- Maintaining the company's certifications, GDPR, ISO, and compliance requirements.
Skills Required:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Expertise in speaking and writing English; knowledge of a second language is an asset.
- Prior experience in the relocation management or household goods industries is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- The capacity for proactive and independent work.
- Software expertise, such as Microsoft Office.
- A positive outlook and the capacity to collaborate internationally.
- The capacity to act with assurance and professionalism while interacting with clients, particularly during meetings and presentations as necessary.
- The capacity to perform well under pressure.
- The ability to sit still for extended periods of time.
- Skilful organisation and time management skills.
- Be able to get to and from the office with dependable transportation.
- Global travel as and when needed.
