We are currently working with a Moving and Logistics company based in Germany who are looking to recruit an International Move Manager on a permanent basis. Relocation is available.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled candidate looking to develop their career to manage and maintain the relationship between both the clients and their customers to ensure that all aspects of their operations go smoothly every step of the way. This position is with an industry-leading company with over 100 years of history behind it, a family-run business with a well-established worldwide network. 

Responsibilities for the International Move Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Checking throughout the process and verifying each step, sending the results to Sales & Dispatch.
  • Scheduling of shipments in accordance with the organization's cost and price plan (freight, transporter, forwarding agent, etc.).
  • Processing customer orders in accordance with the services offered.
  • On-time distribution of all necessary data and paperwork to clients, agents, shipping firms, forwarders, etc.
  • Retaining communication with current and prospective partners, as well as partner firms.
  • Promptly sending the sales manager all shipping documentation.
  • A daily check on the status of the moving containers.
  • To ensure a seamless process, share procedure and news with sales and partners.
  • Quickly and effectively address issues.
  • Gathering and expeditious delivery of all required paperwork.
  • Create process files and always keep them updated.

International Move Manager Requirements & Expectations:

  • Fluency in both German and English required. 
  • Previous experience in the moving and relocation sector. 
  • Always acting appropriately, including on the phone.
  • Exercising courtesy when interacting with clients and co-workers.
  • Being on time for meetings and phone calls.
  • Considering the needs of the consumer and having quick concise responses.
  • Making our services known to customers.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Teaching fellow team members using your experience and knowledge.
  • Prioritising tasks and planning work accordingly.
  • Adhering to job directions.
