We are working with a International Logistics company seeking a Sales Executive to join their team in New Jersey.
Responsibilities;
- Focusing on Ocean Freight and Airfreight Shipments
- Win business from new customers in line with targets set by the Sales Manager
- Direct sales – from lead generation through close, in assigned territory
- Revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with company vision and goals
- Generate an increase in business from existing customers listed in your portfolio
- Identify new target customers within defined parameters
- Create quotes and sales proposals for company services
- Independently generate new sales revenue
- Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions and timing
- Research all clients fully prior to visiting, to ensure credit limits are viable, and there is a realistic chance of success
- Communication with clients in order to qualify prospects and promote the Company
- Arrange visits and/or follow up
Skills Required;
- Extensive sales experience
- International logistics experience
- Freight forwarding experience covering Air freight and Sea freight
- Extensive market knowledge
- Proven track record
