We are partnering with a market leading, global organisation based in Doha, Qatar who are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join their team.

This role will oversee the delivery and implementation of new projects and technology solutions according to business needs. 

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the customer/business and technology teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and model business needs and requirements.
  • Develop detailed user stories, process flows, and other documentation essential for user experience and technical teams to execute development without ambiguity.
  • Assist the product owner in making informed decisions and contribute to shaping the right product.
  • Work closely with the technical lead/architect to design a technical framework that aligns with the desired business outcomes.
  • Support the quality assurance team in developing test case scenarios, ensuring the overall solution meets quality standards and delivers a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review meetings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of process efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in prioritizing and managing the product backlog.
  • Ensure project and product objectives are met within scope, timeline, budget, and other constraints.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to business analysts and help establish best practices and standards for the organization's Business Analysis Center of Practice.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in the airline, hospitality, or retail industries is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with AMOS system within an MRO environment is desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in using Agile project/product management tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Competence in working with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with development teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Capability to support the product owner in decision-making processes.
  • Commitment to quality standards and process compliance.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new domains and changes.
  • Relevant certifications in Business Analysis and Agile methodologies are advantageous (e.g., PSPO, PSM, CSPO, CSM, PMI-PBA, CBAP, IIBA-AAC, or equivalent).
