Our client, a leading moving and relocation service company in the Greenwich, CT area, is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Move Coordinator to join their team.

They are committed to ensuring smooth transitions for individuals and families that are relocating locally, long-distance, or globally.   The ideal candidate will oversee, manage, and coordinate the entire moving process, ensuring that our clients have a seamless and efficient experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the moving process, offering great customer service and guidance.
  • Coordination and scheduling of all parts of relocation, including packing, loading, transportation, and unloading, within agreed schedules.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' needs and preferences in order to create customized relocation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including movers, packers, and logistics personnel, to ensure that all components of the move are completed on schedule.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, addressing any problems, offering updates, and guaranteeing a high level of satisfaction.
  • Manage move documentation and paperwork, ensuring correctness and compliance with business regulations.
  • Identify probable obstacles or issues ahead of time and implement remedies to minimize disruptions throughout the relocation process.
  • Maintain precise records and databases for each client's transfer, tracking progress and keeping organized paperwork.

Qualifications:
  • Previous customer-facing experience in the moving, logistics, or relocation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-centric problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage many activities at once.
  • Proficiency with computer tools, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness are required to prosper in a fast-paced setting.
  • An understanding of local legislation and practical factors for relocation.
