An experienced Moving Branch Manager is needed to join the Glasgow-based team of an international removal company.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the removal branch team to meet revenue, margin, and contribution targets. The successful candidate will accomplish this by effectively planning, monitoring, and managing daily operations.
Moving Branch Manager Responsibilities:
- Continually deliver exceptional service while adhering to the removal company's quality requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all transportation and health and safety laws are followed.
- Look for ways to increase sales and business development proactively.
- Responsible for the complete accountability of the removal branch contribution.
- Accurate reporting of wages, POs, and other expenses is required.
- Weekly sign-off and closure for every removal task.
- Include monthly projections and weekly trading data.
- Organise the personnel, trucks, and supplies required to complete the number of scheduled removal transfers, considering vacation days and staffing levels.
- To verify service quality, removal customers should be visited before, during, and following moves.
- Make sure that any shortcomings are thoroughly examined and dealt with through to the end.
- Complaints and allegations should be looked into in great detail.
- Call monthly meetings for removal branch services.
Required experience for the Moving Branch Manager:
- Three years or more of experience in a comparable capacity working in the removals sector.
- Outstanding man-management abilities.
- A motivated, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude towards work and projects.
