Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Moving Warehouse Manager on behalf of a well-established moving and relocation company based in Pompano Beach, FL.
The Moving Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized warehouse, managing inventory, and ensuring all operations are performed in compliance with company policies. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming inventory.
- Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, tracking all company and customer assets.
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries with external vendors, suppliers, and clients.
- Develop and implement warehouse processes and layout designs to optimize workflow and storage space.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.
- Handle any warehouse-related issues, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing warehouse operations, preferably within the moving and relocation industry.
- Valid forklift certification and hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects as needed.
