The position serves both USA and Global functions and is a key role in the continued enhancement of this exciting company’s brand in terms of the customer experience
Responsibilities;
- Management of the pricing department and customer service specialists
- Responsible for building direct relationships and management of top accounts
- Management of bids/R Fps, and support for business development endeavours
- Contribute to external customer satisfaction and internal flow of communication between multiple departments
- Managing the pricing team
- Ensure all quote requests are responded to on time
- Responsible for contact and relationship management with key accounts
- Development and review of third-party resources including trucking, inter modal, and warehousing services to achieve the best service/price combination for customers and to provide to the pricing and traffic teams
- Responsible for assisting all overseas offices and agents
- Experience working within Freight forwarding and Logistics
- Team leadership experience
- Experience working with quotations and pricing
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
