Our client, a moving and storage company, is searching for a National Account Business Development Representative to join their team in a US-Based remote role.
Your day-to-day duties will revolve around developing the business for national and international accounts, as well as prestigious Relocation Management Companies.
- When necessary, sends requests for data entry and customer follow-up to relocation coordinators.
- Uses phone, email, and website information to respond to corporate and national account inquiries for relocation services.
- Offers on-site surveys of homes and workplaces in the company’s service regions.
- Offers a comprehensive explanation of the relocation program utilizing the "company’s" relocation instructions and the relocation manual.
- Prepares sales contracts, RFPs, and RFIs for opportunities obtained and provides projected pricing for services and credit terms.
- Gives data to the customer service and operations divisions to help with the forecasting, planning, and coordinating of relocation opportunities.
- Generate reports on daily activities, expenditure accounts, and company transactions.
- Creates and manages a pipeline for business development and sales.
- Completes surveys and, if necessary, sends documents regarding origin agent surveys.
- Advances the brand by promoting all offered services and initiatives.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, workshops, virtual gatherings, and social media events that could result in sustaining and/or creating new business prospects.
- If necessary, prepare for and/or participate in client reviews.
- Account management responsibilities related to creating and preserving business prospects for the brand.
- Hold knowledge of the moving and relocation industry.
- Associate degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school.
- Two years related experience and/or training.
- Professional mannerisms.
