The successful candidate will be an integral part of their existing Operations Team, responsible for actively participating in day-to-day ocean freight operations and managing related administrative tasks. This role will also involve building and nurturing relationships with their existing clients, ensuring the delivery of a consistently high standard of customer care at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Creating job files and all necessary paperwork
- Handling the jobs while utilising the Azyra software
- Prolonged client communication by phone and in writing (email)
- Protracted supplier negotiations and liaison
- Internal communication between the sales team and customers to help with quotes and service updates
- Sending invoices for completed work
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of ocean freight operations, ideally with an export bias
- Customer service expertise and the capacity to forge enduring bonds
- Knowledge of calculating freight estimates
