A highly respected name within the removals industry is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in the West London area.

You will be responsible to lead and manage the operations team to achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets. The successful candidate will achieve this through the efficient planning, monitoring and management of the daily operation.

Removals Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activities in the warehouse.
• Long and short-distance travel planning and dispatch for the removals team.
• Finding and training new movers.
• Throughout the removals process, help customers with issues, complaints, and payments.
• Offer assistance with local and long-distance activities during the busiest removals season.
• Assurance of quality.
• Background checks for employees. 
• Ensuring that everything is going well by checking the job sites.
• Assist with equipment tracking, availability, inspections, and maintenance.

Required experience for the Removals Operations Manager:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role within the removals industry.
• Excellent man management skills.
• A motivated, enthusiastic and optimistic outlook on work and projects.
• Strategic thinker and planner.
• Highly organised.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
