Responsibilities of the Outside Moving Sales Consultant:
- Create comprehensive relocation quotes for clients relocating nearby or far away.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to open doors for future and repeat business.
- Complete sales paperwork precisely and on schedule.
- Network with prospective clients.
- Reach performance objectives and goals for the quarter.
- Record all estimates along with any special instructions or customer-specific notes.
- Communicates to the operations team and move coordinator any customer expectations.
- Answer inquiries from clients directly to address problems before, during, and after the transfer.
- Diligently keep and handle a full calendar of appointments.
- Regularly keep an eye on voicemail, email, and text messages for consumer and business communication.
- As necessary, participate in all sales meetings, conferences, and training seminars.
- Perform follow-ups on pending estimates and keep data updated in Microsoft Outlook and "Quotes To Go."
Requirements of the Outside Moving Sales Consultant:
- Passionate about achieving sales and able to prosper in a competitive environment.
- Able to communicate with all parties involved in the moving operations.
- At least one year sales experience within Moving services preferred.
