This sales role focuses on identifying, managing, and recruiting local partners and includes an auto allowance in addition to salary and commission.
Responsibilities for the Local Business Development Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Determine and focus on possible partners for referrals.
- Reach out to possible partners through phone conversations, emails, in-person meetings, and local networking events.
- Use cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach to find and qualify new leads.
- Attend industry meetups and local networking events to grow your referral network.
- Sustain continued connections with current partners by providing regular updates and assistance.
- Keep up with local industry developments, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Complete in-home surveys and quality checks, offer quotes, and follow up on leads that need face-to-face communication.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in the moving and relocation sector.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with the Microsoft Office package.
