The Relocation Consultant serves as a point of contact for both assignees and the client and is accountable for providing household goods shipping and relocation services.
Duties include:
- Manage individual relocations while providing quotes, scheduling outside shipping and moving companies, verifying timelines, and staying in touch.
- Preparing for overseas moves by doing research, communicating, and making sure that shipping customs regulations and restrictions are followed.
- Coordinating and managing third-party partners, including scheduling, booking, and evaluating the partner's services.
- Proactively informing assignees, co-workers, and suppliers during the relocation process.
- Establishing connections with clients, assignees, and vendors for shipment and relocation.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of the policies, cultures, and service demands of the allocated clientele.
- Putting in place and following well defined procedures to guarantee service consistency.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- In depth knowledge of household goods moving and relocation services both internationally and domestically.
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrable customer service experience.
- Fluency in both English & Swedish essential.
- Excellent understanding of geography and cultures.
- Outstanding organisational skills, experience managing multiple projects.
- The ability to manage and resolve conflicts or high pressure situations.
- High level working proficiency in all Microsoft office programs.
