You will be responsible for Leading a team of removals operatives, providing guidance, advice, and expertise as needed during the removals and relocations process.
Responsibilities:
- The ability to complete assigned removal tasks in accordance with the procedures outlined in the induction pack, staff handbook, B.A.R., and Code of Practice.
- Oversee the operation of removal vehicles up to 3.5 tons in weight, ensuring they are operated safely and in compliance with legal regulations.
- Compliance with all health and safety requirements, as well as responsibility for the overall awareness and safety of the removals team.
- Maintaining good customer service values, liaising with day-to-day issues, and dealing with customer queries on all removals.
- Lead by example by ensuring that all working practices are of the highest quality.
- Ensure that all removal crew members use all materials efficiently and for the intended purpose.
- Removal Job management must be done efficiently and with care at all times to ensure that the client's goods and home are not damaged.
- Communication with warehouse personnel about any items that require crating or special attention.
- Liaising with the move coordinator regarding discrepancies in estimated volumes.
- Ensure all removal paperwork is neat and accurate.
- Report of removal crew member underperformance issues and damages.
- Compliance with all legal requirements in the day-to-day operation of vehicles.
- Daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
- Compliance with EU Working Time Directive Regulations.
- Correct vehicle maintenance, care, and cleanliness.
- Vehicle and load security.
- Compliance with company policies regarding smoking, cell phones, and parking fines.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Pay close attention to the details.
- Adaptable, dependable, and punctual.
- Patience and the ability to work well under pressure are required.

- Capability to handle all related paperwork efficiently.
- A valid UK Drivers Licence with Class B is required.
- 3+ years of removal team leadership experience.
- Previous leadership experience.
