Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home surveys to assess client needs and provide accurate moving estimates.
- Manage inside sales activities, including responding to inquiries and following up on leads.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Network and meet with potential sources to generate new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals and sales contracts to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the moving team to ensure seamless execution of moving services.
- Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote the company’s services and expand the client base.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-move follow-up.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of in-home surveys and household goods moving processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self-generate leads and build a strong network of business contacts.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to travel locally for in-home surveys and client meetings.
