Our client, a global multinational company, is looking to hire a Sales & Account Manager to join their team based in any major Metropolitan area on the East Coast or Central USA. 

As Sales & Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitable growth and expanding market presence within the packaging industry, with a specific focus on thermoforming. You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and cultivating new business opportunities, as well as strengthening relationships with existing clients. The role demands a strategic approach to market analysis, customer needs assessment, and the effective management of customer projects to ensure satisfaction and sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seek opportunities for new business to drive profitable growth
  • Identify potential prospects through marketing leads, cold calls, and various sources
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, focusing on customer needs, pricing models, and manufacturing inputs
  • Actively prospect and chase leads to develop new business 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects 
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, customer service, and operations
  • Participate in trade show activities and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Quoting, forecasting, and budgeting

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 10 years+ of packaging industry experience within thermoforming (Custom Thermoforming Trays, Clamshells and Blister Packaging) is essential
  • Extensive understanding of key drivers in the packaging industry 
  • Demonstrated track record of securing new customers and expanding share within existing ones
  • Proficient in value-based comparative selling strategies
  • Be able to understand and implement value-based comparative selling strategies
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar 
  • Frequent travel required
