Key responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of interior design clients, to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Nurture existing client base and increase sales.
- Respond to all client queries and diligently pursue questions to guarantee that all potential customers receive first-rate service.
- Have advanced knowledge of the master artisans and craftspeople that they will be representing.
- The candidate would be expected to motivate and up-sell to high-end clientele.
- Must be able to speak intelligently about the represented artisans and the products that are produced and represented by the gallery.
- Candidate must give clients flawless service before, during, and after all sales.
- Oversee all aspects of the clients custom orders, including purchase, order submission and clear communications of details such as production, shipping schedule and final delivery.
- Contribute to the financial growth of the company.
- Be knowledgeable of all products, production, specifications and information regarding the pieces you are selling.
- Travel when necessary for art fairs, client presentations and represent and network for the gallery at all industry events.
- Extensive knowledge of the design industry.
- Knowledge of interior design, clients in interior design/architects/private clients.
- Previous experience working within a sales-focused role in the art industry.
- Proven track record of design/art sales.
- Proven communications skills are essential.
- Other languages are a plus!
