Responsibilities of the Sales Marketing Director (Automotive):
- Selling and marketing flame retardant material in the US and LATAM automotive markets.
- Leading and mentoring a small team.
- Visiting clients to nurture and grow working relationships.
- Monitoring client credit information and assisting in managing credit balances.
- Forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
- Acting as an advisor on client-related matters (contracts and credit).
- Proposing sales and marketing strategies tailored to various localities.
- Dealing with requests for quotes and PPAP.
- Translating production data.
- Occasional travel.
Requirements of the Sales Marketing Director (Automotive):
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the automotive industry.
- Fluent Japanese is required.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate and build solid relationships.
- A proactive mentality and a passion for sales.
- Sound integrity regarding compliance and controls.
