Alchemy is partnering with a prestigious Moving and Storage company to assist in their search for a Sales Move Coordinator. The successful candidate will join them at their Guildford location.
The purpose of this role is to oversee the moving process from initial sales enquiries to the finalisation of the move. You will manage direct enquiries and ensure that these are converted to sales for the business.
Responsibilities of the Sales Move Coordinator:
- In charge of achieving the company-set goals for revenue and margin for particular accounts.
- Organising and overseeing every sales opportunity given to the Sales Executive while ensuring the company is in the best possible position to win the sale.
- Working with the Senior Manager, to manage the price and margins of the product/service mix in accordance with the established goals.
- Providing the business with recommendations regarding the necessary pricing and service levels.
- Guaranteeing that the Company gets paid in line with the established contract for all moves.
- Handling the numerous accounts that need to be dealt with on a daily basis and, if necessary, directing to the Group Domestic General Manager.
- Processing file cases and helping with the daily management of individual files.
- Continuous development of positive working connections with all prospects for sales and clients.
- Coordinating and negotiating with internal and external parties utilising the right channels in order to promote the growth of successful business and long-lasting relationships.
- Making sure that you are adhering to the established Quality Systems, Policies, and Procedures that are relevant to the various ISO certifications.
- Processing payments and invoices using an internal database.
- Participating in training and acquiring necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Filing obligations necessary for the efficient operation of the Department; these obligations include adhering to the Health & Safety Policy and other equivalent requirements.
- Any additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements of the Sales Move Coordinator:
- Previous Move Coordinator and Sales experience in the moving industry.
- An enthusiastic and flexible work ethic.
- Negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Strong communication and rapport building skills.
- IT literate.
