At Alchemy we are working alongside a rapidly expanding Gallery in London, who are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Consultant.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for hitting annual targets and supporting the gallery’s global goals and targets.
  • Manage and expand  your client base both in the UK and internationally.
  • Communicate and liaise with clients to maintain relationships and future sales.
  • Develop new client relationships, while researching potential client targets to build a wider network.
  • Organise and host clients at the gallery as well as international art fairs/exhibitions when required.
  • Participate in the gallery’s events with predetermined goals to follow up with potential clients.
  • Coordinate closely with the Logistics and Finance departments to guarantee prompt sale completion and payment collection.
  • Conduct thorough research on the gallery’s artist roster, as well as all art market statistics.
  • Make forward-thinking suggestions for artists, pieces of art, and themes for exhibitions.
  • Assist in the execution of the exhibition/fair plan, including client communications, installation, surrounding events, and sales pipeline.
  • Arrange events for the gallery’s clients.

Skills required:
  • Previous experience working within a sales-focussed role in the art industry.
  • Proven track record of art sales.
  • A network of clients within the UK and internationally is required.
  • Knowledge of Design, Furniture, Sculpture and Contemporary Art is desired.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Other languages are a plus!
