A well-established Moving & Storage company are looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee their warehouse facility based in Fairfield, NJ.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager with leadership skills who has had exposure to mentoring, motivating and managing teams, to join a residential, interstate and commercial moving provider that offer full scope moving and relocation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of all work functions to direct the unloading, loading, storage and documenting of all items
• Deal with the production schedule, work order, customer order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be gathered, moved or distributed accurately
• Record amounts of items/materials received or distributed accurately
• Looking after the whole warehouse function for this very busy moving specialist
• Responsible for the safety regulations for all staff under your control

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse management experience working within the moving sector
• Must be able to manage and direct staff as required
• Able to operate various forklifts, preferably using a reach truck
• Very strong administrative skills
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft work, outlook and excel
