Platform Architect

Job Description

Alchemy is currently partnering with a global technology firm who are looking to recruit a Platform Architect with 10+ years of experience, to be based onsite in Stockholm, Sweden.

Purpose:
  • Manage the Product Lifecycle in alignment with the product portfolio strategy and plan, while managing requirements, safeguarding and governing the product Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Driving and manage the solution design, integrations and architecture in adherence to overarching principles and frameworks.
  • Focus is on the more technical aspects of the product/s. And work is more closely with the engineering/development team than the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare/initiate/execute product plans.
  • Drive strategy and roadmap for complex product/s in scope and understanding of the Business Processes for the Functional Area.
  • Manage functional & non-functional requirements.
  • Drive and protect the design/integration/architecture for the product/s.
  • Create, maintain and approve system documentation, release notes and end-  user documentation.
  • Drive the dialogue and decisions with the Enterprise Architecture team for the product/s.
  • Plan and safeguard the product lifecycle.
  • Understanding of the technical trends affecting the product/s roadmap.
  • Working as the Subject Matter Expert on competitive analysis and technical challenges for the product in scope.
  • Assess and address technical risks for the product/s.
  • Govern Product design and sign-off the solution design for the product/s.
  •  Ensure that business capabilities are defined and mapped into   product requirements.
  • Review and be part of approving development proposals and design as well as driving product direction and manage complex  requirements across several products/projects/activities.
  • Support the Operations team, when needed, to resolve complex  production incidents when specific product expertise is needed.
  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product  documentation I.e., in the Service Catalog and ITAR.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience is required in the same field.
  • Experience in Data & Analytics Technical product design and management work - interpreting requirements to recommend technical platforms, setting up technical systems design, implement technical tools and technologies in data & analytics, setting up governance and support of the technical platforms.
  • Knowledge, experience and skills in the required technical platforms and tools for data & analytics.
