Our client, an International Moving & Relocation company based in Paris is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team.

As the Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of the business. Working closely with the sales team, your primary focus will be on nurturing existing client relationships while identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient crew management, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to regulatory requirements.

 Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all department, including Sales, Operation & Finance.
  • Identify and pursue new moving & relocation business opportunities in the market.
  • Arrange and conduct client visits and presentations to showcase our moving & relocation services.
  • Follow up with clients to nurture relationships and maximize opportunities.
  • Provide support to the sales team as needed to achieve targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for moving & relocation client complaints and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate crews for moving & relocation projects.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure crews have the necessary insurance.
  • Maintain updated crew tariff and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Source and book appropriate moving & relocation crew members.
  • Oversee moving & relocation paperwork processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage crew schedules and maintain a comprehensive crew diary.
  • Ensure correct packing procedures for fine art shipments, paying attention to detail and labelling.
  • Monitor and manage materials inventory.
  • Conduct surveys and access checks as required for relocation projects.
  • Perform quality checks to maintain service excellence.
  • Serve as a supervisor for moves, ensuring premium service delivery.
  • Compile rates for moving & relocation services, including supplier costs and client pricing.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO and quality guidelines and processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or operations management within the moving, relocation or logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the relocation industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
