We are currently working closely with an art logistics organisation, who are seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to help continue to drive business growth.
This role focuses on developing new business, maintaining client relationships, and supporting their art logistics operations. A proven track record of winning new business and onboarding new clients from the art industry is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador and promote the services to new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international clients.
- Forecast and develop leads and a sales pipeline throughout the year.
- Meet clients and attend events to secure business deals.
- Work with the logistics team and managers to create quotations.
- Share market knowledge with the business and factor into strategy.
- Track and follow up on all potential client leads.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers about logistical requirements
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of logistical operations and support internally when required.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the art logistics industry.
- Demonstrated success in securing new business and developing client accounts.
- Self-motivated, ability to manage multiple projects at once and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics operations is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
