The business development manager oversees finding and creating new commercial moving prospects for the organisation. They collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to develop and implement plans that would increase the company's clientele and earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthens position in the market by identifying, cultivating, defining, and concluding O&I moving business partnerships.
- Finds trendsetter ideas through moving industry and relevant announcements, publications, and events.
- Keeps tabs on each contributor's achievements.
- Find possible commercial business partners to approach or make proposals for deals.
- Finds and investigates business prospects.
- Analyses market tactics, transaction requirements, and financials to filter possible company deals.
- Determines internal priorities and assesses options.
- Advocates for stock investing.
- Creates negotiating positions and strategies by researching how to integrate a new endeavour with the operations and strategies of the organisation.
- Evaluate commercial business opportunity risks and potentials.
- Calculates objectives and needs for moving partners.
- Develops and negotiates contracts, integrates contract needs with business operations, and coordinates requirements to close new business deals.
- Preserves the value of the organisation by maintaining information privacy.
- Improves the organization's standing by taking responsibility for fulfilling novel and unique requests.
- Attend moving events for networking.
Requirements:
- Prior experience within the moving and relocation industry is essential, ideally with commercial moves
