Alchemy is working with a well-established Moving and Relocation company based in Tokyo, Japan who are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join their expanding team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vendor relations, client contacts, and shipping document management.
  • Facilitate smooth door-to-door services by liaising with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and overseas partners.
  • Manage and resolve complaints, service recovery, claims, and insurance issues.
  • Assist in billing invoices to meet deadlines and support AR/AP invoice management.
  • Support the Branch Manager with survey setup, quote follow-up, job closing, client communications, and sales statistics.
  • Handle import and export job files as well as intra-Japan files.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager or Sales on job-related tasks.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with general office management and administrative duties.
  • Oversee vendor service quality control and improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Native Japanese speaker with excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Experience in freight forwarding, international trade, hospitality, or foreign organisations is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and logistical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer literacy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and multitask within deadlines.
  • College diploma or higher.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
