Alchemy is working with a well-established Moving and Relocation company based in Tokyo, Japan who are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join their expanding team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vendor relations, client contacts, and shipping document management.
- Facilitate smooth door-to-door services by liaising with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and overseas partners.
- Manage and resolve complaints, service recovery, claims, and insurance issues.
- Assist in billing invoices to meet deadlines and support AR/AP invoice management.
- Support the Branch Manager with survey setup, quote follow-up, job closing, client communications, and sales statistics.
- Handle import and export job files as well as intra-Japan files.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager or Sales on job-related tasks.
- Assist the Branch Manager with general office management and administrative duties.
- Oversee vendor service quality control and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Native Japanese speaker with excellent written and oral English skills.
- Experience in freight forwarding, international trade, hospitality, or foreign organisations is preferred.
- Strong organisational and logistical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer literacy.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and multitask within deadlines.
- College diploma or higher.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
